We offer a range of services at a very competitive rate when compared to those offered by other law firms or advocates in this field. We do not have significant overheads or partners costs and have, subsequently, chosen to pass on these benefits to you, our client.

The cost of an appeal against a local authority decision can obviously vary depending on the complexity of a case. However, the costs of representation and obtaining legal advise from some of the UK's leading educational lawyers can cost between £10,000 to £20,000.

We can provide our legal expertise on an hourly or fixed rate. This gives our clients the flexibility to engage us depending on their particular requirements. While we do not currently offer Legal Aid you can contact the Civil Legal Advice line on 0345 3454 345 to find out which firms offer it.

Please fee to contact us so that we can give you an initial estimate of costs. This will be based on our understanding of the case at this preliminary stage. It will, nevertheless, enable you to decide whether legal support is affordable for you.

It is important to note that costs are not recoverable from the "losing" party unless they have been shown to have acted unreasonably  in responding to the appeal. We would, therefore, like to highlight that pursuing an appeal is an expensive financial commitment. On the other hand, parents who engage a legal representation will do so because they may be securing expensive provisions for their child.
